A beautiful, snow-white smile is a dream for many people. Unfortunately, not everyone can boast one. Over time, teeth darken due to lifestyle, oral hygiene, diet, and habits. Thanks to modern teeth whitening methods, we can help patients achieve their desired results. One of the methods to achieve a white smile is the teeth whitening procedure.
What do you need to know about whitening and what are the methods?
Before the whitening procedure, a dental check-up and hygiene treatment are performed to comprehensively prepare the teeth. The dentist then selects the appropriate whitening method for the patient. After bleaching, to maintain the best results, the patient is advised to follow a “white diet” that eliminates staining foods and beverages for at least one week and to use a whitening toothpaste.
A one-visit procedure that gives an immediate brighter smile (approximately 1.5 hours). This is a very popular method, especially before important events.
A two-visit procedure where the patient performs the whitening treatment at home after receiving personalized trays and whitening gel. After an initial visit to create the trays, the patient will wear the trays at home for about two weeks and then return for a follow-up appointment.
